And yes, it’s a romance. It’s under my other pen name, Ally McGuire. I really enjoyed writing it, which always surprises me given that my heart has been in fantasy/spec-fic for so long. But lately, I’m struggling with fantasy as I hit a kind of writer’s block. I feel better now that I’ve got a new book out, so maybe my writing mojo will return.
