A beginning? Or an ending?

I suppose that’s always the question when it comes to journeys. Change is inevitable and we have to slide into it like we’ve been greased with babyoil and we’re headed for a tight squeeze.

Or something.

I’m at that squeeze point. The book that has been in my clumsy hands for a decade is going out in the world tomorrow. TOMORROW. February 1, 2024, the book that nearly broke me into itty bitty pieces ten years ago is going to be out in the big bad world.

But my main character can handle it. The reviewers have told me so. And I can’t express what a relief it is to know that the book has already found the readers who loved the adventure. If you check it out, I hope you’ll feel the same. (If you don’t, please don’t tell me. My imposter syndrome heart couldn’t take it. But if you do like it, I’d LOVE to hear from you. My writer’s ego is funny that way.)

And, know what? I’m not alone in my big release day tomorrow. We’re both dropping bodies all over the place! My wife, Robyn Nyx, is releasing her newest book, Dead Ringer, too. It’s the second in the Dak Farrell FBI series, and the serial killer in this is goosebumply eerie. You’re going to love it.

FBI agent Dak Farrell’s wedding plans to celebrity mortician Callie “CJ” Johnson are interrupted by a series of seemingly unrelated murders. Dak’s instincts scream that there’s a deadly pattern, but the chilling connection eludes her as the body count continues to rise.
As Dak grapples with the unsettling realization that she’s dealing with a killer who’s playing by a mysterious rulebook, her commitment to CJ is stretched to its limits.
In this heart-pounding tale of love, danger, and deception, Dak is about to discover that some vows are made in blood. Can she unravel the mystery before the next body drops, or will her happily-ever-after become a victim too?

Happy reading, everyone!

I read both books & both of them were fantastic! I enjoyed both books & Medea was nothing like the Greek Mythology I studied way back when. I enjoyed this version much better! 🙂

However with both of these books & a few others I’ve reviewed, it’s a good thing I’m retired! I kept turning the pages because I had to see what was going to happen & before I knew it, it was 4 AM!
